We have introduced a new feature, the Cloudflare Script Proxy, to improve the accuracy of data collection for users who also utilize Cloudflare. This feature helps bypass script blockers and privacy shields by allowing the Fullres analytics script to be served from your own domain.

 Log in to Cloudflare, navigate to "Workers & Pages," and create a new Worker.
Name the Worker, then replace the default code with the provided script and deploy it.

In the Cloudflare Dashboard, add a new route for your Worker using your website URL.

 Update the Fullres install code on your website to point to the new route.

By using the Cloudflare Script Proxy, you ensure more reliable data collection, even when third-party scripts are blocked.

Events are specific actions that occur on your website, such as button clicks, form submissions, or video plays. By tracking these events, you can gain detailed insights into how users interact with your site and identify areas for improvement. Here are some common events you can now track:

: Track clicks on call-to-action buttons to measure engagement.

: Capture form completions to analyze user interest.

: See how often your videos are being watched.

: Track downloads of important resources like whitepapers.

: Monitor add-to-cart actions and purchases.

Implementing event tracking is simple. Here’s an example of how to log a button click event:

Metadata provides additional context about a page view, such as user status, page category, or content tags. Unlike events, which are specific actions, metadata describes the state or attributes of the page at the time it is viewed. Here’s an example of adding metadata to a page view:

Introducing Metadata and Events for Better Insights

We released an update to the Analytics dashboard that now includes a new Events section to monitor Unique Actions, Actions, and Action Rate. Clicking on any of your custom Events will then filter your Analytics view by that specific segment.
